We are blessed at Health Culture to have an awesome team of Personal Trainers who not only look after their clients health and fitness needs but are also driven to be the best and healthiest version of themselves.

Our philosophy is that if you want to “talk the talk” you have to “walk the walk” and that is why you will always see our trainers working out in the gym, running or cycling around town as well as organising crazy outdoor challenges for clients, members and friends. You see, we live and breathe healthy lifestyles and we know that leading by example will have the greatest influence on our clients and community.

Below are profiles of our awesome team so you can see what makes them tick.

Why did you get into fitness/personal training?

I spent many years training people for fun because I enjoyed helping people improve themselves physically and emotionally. I realised I could have a career that gave me the work satisfaction I was looking for. I enrolled in Cert 3 & 4 in Fitness & Personal Training and went from there.

What’s your favourite part of your job?

Seeing people achieve what they previously believed was impossible.

Why did you get into fitness/personal training?

I was at a bit of a turning point in my life – I had really gotten into running and I had myself a great gym buddy, Sam – and I happened to speak to Rob one day who said they were looking for a new person. I had just decided to do my Cert 3 & 4 in Fitness so it felt a bit meant to be, so I thought I’d apply and see what happens. Thankfully Jamie and Dash wanted to give me a chance as I have loved every minute of the last 3 years. I no longer feel like I go to work everyday!

What’s your favourite part of your job?

I love watching people change and just being able to be a small part of it.

I have meet such a wide net of people and no 2 days are ever the same.

Why did you get into fitness/personal training?

Originally, to learn more to help with my own training and goals. This drive then moved to encouraging others to make healthy choices and changes in their lives as well.

What’s your favourite part of your job?

Watching the changes people go through from that first initial assessment to 2-3 months later, walking in with so much more confidence and noticing the changes they’re making are paying off.

Also the people I meet.

What’s your favourite part of your job?

Seeing people achieve their goals, no matter how big or small they are.

Why did you get into fitness/personal training?

I first began my fitness journey in 2005 and my whole outlook on life changed. I originally began to become skinny but got so much more. I was so inspired that I wanted to help other people overcome body issues and learn to love being strong, healthy and happy in their own skin

What’s your favourite part of your job?

Every bit of it, getting paid to do this is a nice bonus. I LOVE when people rise above the scales, I LOVE when people finally get a glimpse at what they are truly capable of. I LOVE the health culture community, great bunch of people!
